Experience an unforgettable evening as acclaimed Canadian-Romanian conductor Andrei Feher leads Thirteen Strings in a powerful and moving program that spans centuries and styles. Known for his musical integrity and imaginative programming, Feher brings a fresh perspective to each performance.

Joining Andrei Feher and Thirteen Strings is soprano Elisabeth St-Gelais, “Révélation Radio-Canada Classique 2023–2024” and rising star of the Canadian operatic scene. An Innu artist from Pessamit, Elisabeth is celebrated for her rich, expressive voice and her dedication to cultural sharing and reconciliation through music. Winner of the prestigious Wirth Vocal Prize and named to CBC’s classical 30 under 30 list, she represents a vibrant new generation of Indigenous artists.

The evening features a beautifully curated program: Mendelssohn’s youthful Sinfonia No. 1, Anna Clyne’s dynamic Stride, Wagner’s emotional Wesendonck Lieder, Florence Price’s heartfelt Adoration, and Britten’s playful Simple Symphony.
